John
John is a Principal Agent at Southern Hills Insurance Agency. He grew up in the Pittsford Mendon area and now he is the only local agent that lives and works in the same town as the agency. John attended college locally and earned degrees in both Marketing and Organizational Management. One of his most personally rewarding accomplishments is nearing his 20th year as a Certified Insurance Counselor.
John has spent nearly 30 years in the insurance industry working as a vendor to the insurance companies, working for an insurance company, and managing an independent insurance agency. He managed many of the regions in New York State as a District Manager for Erie Insurance. His many years of experience have made John well versed in personal, commercial and specialty markets. At Southern Hills Insurance Agency he enjoys being able to help his community and provide quality insurance products and services to his adopted hometown of Honeoye Falls, Mendon and all of greater Rochester.
Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn attended Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. She previously worked for Xerox Corporation (a Fortune 500 company) and brings experience working for a large corporation to the office. She is a licensed agent and producer in the agency and is about to celebrate her sixth year working in the office.
She is an avid animal lover and lives a plant based lifestyle. Supporting animal rights causes and volunteering in local events is something she feels strongly about. Kaitlyn is devoted to nature and has a passion for herbal medicine. When she is not enjoying the outdoors, she is playing guitar, drawing or hanging with her three cats and leopard gecko.
Michele
Before joining the agency, Michele worked for the Rochester Chamber of Commerce for many years; including being the direct affiliate liaison for the Hispanic Business Association. Prior to that she owned her own meeting and event planning business for many years. She brings a wealth of knowledge in numerous aspects of her business life.
She has also produced some notable crochet works and if you’re ever driving through the village of Honeoye Falls you’ll see some of her works displayed in front of the office. She enjoys spending time with her family when not hard at work in the agency; and she recently became a Jeep girl for the past few years and enjoys trading ducks with other fellow Jeep owners.
